Professional Bio
Jennifer Conkling-Schmitz has been with the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation and Connecticut Restaurant Association since 2009 in various roles. She currently serves as the Foundation Director, overseeing the ProStart Program, HOPES and other workforce development initiatives.
Prior to working for CHEF/CRA, Jennifer worked for House Democrats as a Legislative Assistant to Speaker Moira Lyons. She was an organizer for Team 2000 with the Gore/Lieberman campaign and worked as a lobbyist for over 10 years in Connecticut.
Jennifer lives in Hamden with her husband, John, and two children, Molly and Jack.
