Dear Connecticut Hospitality Community,

Since its founding on November 24, 1961, the Connecticut Restaurant Association has remained committed to building a thriving community of support for Connecticut’s restaurant and hospitality industry. Our organization has certainly changed and grown a great deal since it first began – but what’s never changed is our commitment to you.

This year, our 63rd anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on more than six decades of collective advocacy, representation, and leadership. We know that all we celebrate today was made possible in part by those who came before us, creating opportunities for thousands of businesses and entrepreneurs now operating successfully in Connecticut.

In recent years, we have had to overcome numerous challenges—from a global pandemic to spiking inflation and worker shortages. But in the face of adversity, we have always stood stronger together with a united voice, a growing presence, and an unmatched influence. Just as we are thankful for the work that came before us, we can also be proud that we are building a bright future for generations of restaurateurs, chefs, servers, and customers to come.

Today, our strength remains rooted in the commitment of our members, who are the backbone of our organization. Each adding to the powerful voice that continues to shape the future of our industry, and our state. Thank you to all our members, past and present, for your dedication and partnership.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we invite you to stay actively involved, or to join us, and to help ensure that future generations can enjoy the same opportunities that make our industry so vibrant and resilient. Here's to many more years of growth and success together!

Sincerely,

Scott Dolch
